RSCM Scottish Voices Choral Evensong

We are delighted to be back in Dunblane Cathedral on Saturday 1 February 2020 with a special Choral Evensong for Candlemas Eve at 4pm. The service will be led by the Rev. Colin Renwick, the minister at Dunblane Cathedral, with the choir led by Frikki Walker and accompanied by Kevin Duggan on the Flentrop organ, his home instrument. The music includes: Eccard’s When to the temple Mary went, the Ayleward responses, David Bevan’s marvellous Magnificat Octavi Toni, Holst’s Nunc Dimittis and Philips’ Hodie Beata Virgo. If you’re in the Dunblane area and have 45 minutes or so to chill in the beautiful surroundings of Dunblane Cathedral, please come along and join with us – it would give us great pleasure to see you there.

P.S. If you are interested in joining the choir, and singing with us in some of the stunning churches, abbeys and cathedrals in Scotland and northern England, please contact the Choir Administrator on the website www.RSCMScottishVoices.org.uk. We’d love to hear from you.
